Companies bid $ 3.9 million in third auction of the Dicom

A total of 3 million 935 thousand dollars placed the legal entities in the third auction of the Complementary Floating Market Exchange Rate System (Dicom), informed the director of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), Pedro Maldonado.

According to information published by AVN, the amount offered means an increase of 648% compared to the $ 525,000 contributed by this sector in the second auction. In the first auction, private bidders barely placed $ 20,750.

We believe that it is an extraordinary signal of the market, that the natural and legal persons are entrusting that placing the currencies to be exchanged in bolivars through the Dicom, a transparent, rational, safe mechanism" he said from the headquarters of the BCV, where he presented the results of the third auction.

"The legal persons have come demonstrating an increasing interest to place, through the system, their positions to obtain the bolivars necessary for the operation capacity of their companies", he insisted.
