Cuban President receives his Haitian counterpart, Jovenel Moise, in Havana

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel received his counterpart from Haiti, Jovenel Moise, with whom he will hold talks of mutual interest to both nations.

The Haitian leader will be in Cuba for two days, fulfilling a busy schedule, which includes a visit to the photovoltaic park located in the Expocuba fairground, on the periphery of the capital.

Before being received by Díaz-Canel, President Moise paid tribute to the bust of the Cuban National Hero José Martí located in the capital Plaza de la Revolución, where he placed a wreath.

Cuba and Haiti maintain bilateral exchanges in the field of health and medicine, as well as in agriculture, fisheries, education, water resources, construction and meteorology, among others.
