Honduran police repress tear gas opposition march

The Honduran Police repress hundreds of opponents during protest against the anniversary of the re-election of Juan Orlando Hernández, November 26, 2018.

The demonstrators approached the Presidential House (south) when they were confronted by the police, with an avalanche of tear gas and water jets from a tank.

The mobilization was called by the opposition Freedom and Refoundation (Free) party, coordinated by Manuel Zelaya, former president ousted in 2009 and leader of the Honduran left.
