ILO debates current unemployment of women

The International Labor Organization (ILO) has established an assembly called "Women and Labor" which discusses the current unemployment conditions of women and decent work for indigenous women.

The ILO said through the social network twitter that "reducing the gender gap would bring great benefits to society and the economy."

Also, ILO member Myrna Cunningham said that to make the decision to create jobs for women, it is necessary to restructure the laws.

Members of the Organization pointed out that only 49% of women of working age are part of the workforce, and 76% belong to the opposite sex.
