One dead and 10 injured in incidents on the Guatemala-Mexico border

Thousands of migrants, mostly Hondurans, clashed with the Guatemalan National Civil Police on the Guatemala-Mexico border, October 29, 2018.

At least 6 policemen and 3 injured civilians was the balance that was reported after the confrontation between elements of the National Civil Police of Guatemala and Honduran migrants seeking to enter Mexico, on their way to the United States.

At least one Honduran migrant died and ten others were injured during the confrontation.

In principle, the police tried to dissuade Honduran migrants, on the other side of the metal door, with tear gas; However, the migrants took the bombs and threw them into the Suchiate River.
