Ten Latin American countries will participate for the first time in the V International Economic Forum that will host the Russian city of Yalta, located on the Crimean Peninsula, from April 18 to 20, 2019.
"Political highlights, including senior officials, deputies and diplomats, as well as influential leaders, journalists and businessmen from Mexico, Venezuela, Uruguay, Nicaragua, Cuba, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru and other countries, in total more than 30 people , plan to take part in the fifth Yalta International Economic Forum, "said the co-chairman of the event's organizing committee, Andréi Nazárov.
He said there will be a special activity for Latin American delegations to discuss cooperation and increased trade, as well as to explore joint projects in the Crimea and Latin America.
More than 3,000 people participated in this year's edition, including 612 foreigners from 71 countries, including Germany and Austria.
The event concluded with the signing of contracts for 58,000 million rubles (about 940 million dollars).
