US oil inventories fall for second week

US crude inventories fell for the second consecutive week, while gasoline prices would remain unchanged and distillate prices would have risen, according to analyzes released by Reuters and published by lacomunidadpetrolera. Analysts estimate that crude inventories fell by about 2.2 million barrels in the week to June 16, which fell by 1.7 million barrels in the week to June 9, far from a decline of 2.1 million barrels forecast by analysts.

Gasoline inventories would have remained unchanged from the previous week, while distillate inventories - including heating oil and diesel - would have added 600,000 barrels, according to the survey. The refinery utilization rate would also have remained stable at 94.4 percent of total capacity in the week ended June 9.
