The Venezuelan authorities accused 15 other people involved in the failed naval incursion perpetrated on May 3 on the beaches of Macuto,
The Attorney General of the Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab reported on his social network twitter that the accusation occurred during the 2nd Presentation Hearing for the so-called Operation Gideon.
The accused are: Antonio José Sequea, Cosme Alcalá, Fernando Noya, Estewin Rojas, Luis Manuel Paiva Soto, Ederson Mogollón and Rosme Méndez.
Also involved are: Rodolfo Rogríguez, Gustavo Hernández, Enderson Mogollón, José Alvarado, Gilbert Barillas, Roberto Rondón, Carlos Conde and Jefferson Díaz.
On August 7, Americans Luke Denman and Airan Berry, who were hired by the Silvercorp company, were accused of committing terrorist acts in the South American nation.
After investigations, it was concluded that those involved committed crimes of conspiracy, association, illicit trafficking in weapons of war and terrorism, for which they were sentenced to 20 years in prison.
